Phase 1: Relief Care

Thumbs Up to Relief

Many people go to a chiropractor because they are in pain. In this first phase of care, the main goal is to reduce your symptoms. Sometimes this will require daily visits, or two to three visits per week for a time.

Most people are under the assumption that if they don't feel any pain that there is nothing wrong with them - that they are healthy. Unfortunately, pain is a very poor indicator of health. In fact, pain and other symptoms frequently only appear after a disease or other condition has become advanced.

For example, consider a cavity in your tooth. Does it hurt when it first develops or only after it has become serious? How about heart disease? Regardless of whether you are talking about cancer, heart disease, diabetes, stress or problems with the spine, pain is usually the last thing to appear. When you begin chiropractic care, pain is also the first symptom to disappear, even though much of the underlying condition remains.

Testimonials

  • "Almost immediately I felt better, I slept better for the first time in months. I have also recovered strength in my arms and legs. In short, I feel almost 100% better! I highly recommend not only your chiropractic clinic, but Dr. Otto very highly."

  • "I had Issues with my lower back for about a week before I started looking for a chiropractor in the phone book. I notice a significant improvement in the first couple days. The pain went down and went away. I’ve notice a little better posture when I started changing little things in my life, really helped me. Dr Otto makes visits a pleasure by his knowledge of what he is doing and his ability to relate to me as a person. I’m happy I came here."

  • "I have had back trouble (lower back) for many years and have been under chiropractic care and also therapy with an Osteopath. I wasn’t getting better. I used to feel pain with each step, but now I only feel a weakness and pressure. I am so glad to have the pain lessened and expecting to be better and well again. Thank you Dr. Otto."
